| to lisa depending on how many babies your guinea is having time depends however the more babies the shorter the time in the last two weeks you should be able to see and feel their movement. feed her alfa hay instead of timothy hay.she shouldnt need help giving birth unless she is old and this is her first pregnancy.you should take her to a vet hoivever because she may need an oporation to save her life depending on the guinea pig. birth usualy takes up to 20 mins and happens in the day , the first should be born in 5 mins roughly and usualy she would hav 2 or 3 babies posibly more it all depends. if the birth lasts longerr than 20 mins be prepared to rush her to a vet birth is not always easy. make sure she has a clean place to take care of her young she should be fine however b prepared for something bad to happen . good luck i hope she will be alright write in and tell us we are dying to no wat happens once again good luch em. ( ps soz if this is a bit long it is worth it though.) | ||

| i have two guinea pigs both male and they are three years old however my mums friend has a girl guinea pig so she has borrowed my fave and stuart my other guinea is acting strange . he wont eat his dry food any more(he will eat vegetables)and is shaking and hides in the back of his cage/run. im worried about him is there anything i can do to stop him feeling so sad ans scared? please help from Elf Magic xxx p.s guinea pigs rule the earth guinea pig power! | ||
